Jim performs research that combines the use of computer modeling, optimization, and experiments to study and improve the performance of building systems and related equipment. He directs the CHPB, which is an industry consortium that focusses on the development, demonstration, evaluation, and deployment of new technologies and analysis tools for high performance buildings.
